Payment Methods

To pay online using PayPal (or other credit card through PayPal) use the link in the Renewal Email you receive from NJAPM.
After making any changes in your personal information you can continue with the online payment.   You do not need a PayPal account to use a credit card via PayPal.  If you want to open a PayPal account, there is no charge for doing so.  Credit card payments can be used for online renewals only, but not for renewals submitted via the mail-in form.

To pay by check, please visit this page, fill out and return the applicable form to our office along with your check.  Please note your renewal is not complete until your payment in full has been received.

If you are accredited by NJAPM, by renewing you are certifying that you have completed the required continuing education. NJAPM will perform random audits of CEs and reserves the right to ask for proof of completion of the required continuing education credits.  Failure to submit proofs upon request will affect your accreditation.

If requesting a Searchable General listing under divorce mediators, you are certifying that you have completed a 40-hour divorce mediation training course, or Civil listing a 40 hour civil mediation training course, or have satisfied the requirements for listing on the court’s civil roster at the time you took the training (for most mediators, that will be a minimum of 18 hours). Have attended a minimum of eight hours in each year of NJAPM sponsored conferences, seminars, general meetings, webinars, and/or peer group meetings. Members are responsible for maintaining their own continuing education records and may be required to submit and/or certify annually.

  • Understand that General Members will be searchable but will be clearly identified as not being an APM.

By submitting payment to renew your membership, you are certifying that the information set forth in your membership profile, including all submitted documentation, is true. You hereby agree to abide by the Standards of Conduct and Policies for the Practice of Mediation in New Jersey, as adopted and promulgated by the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators.

Accredited Professional Mediator (APM) An Accredited Member of the Association shall be an individual accredited by the Association as a Professional Mediator in one or more fields of mediation $165
General Member A General Member of the Association shall be an individual who is interested in the field of mediation but has not been accredited by the Association as a Professional Mediator $125

  • General Members will be searchable on Find A Mediator, but will be clearly identified as not being an APM

Emeritus/Student

  • An Emeritus Member of the Association shall be an individual who has been an Accredited Member for the immediately preceding five (5) years and is fully retired from the practice of mediation. Such a member shall be designated as a Member Emeritus, not an Accredited Member or an Accredited Professional Mediator. (APM)
  • A Student Member of the Association shall be an individual who is a full-time matriculated student.
