I've been trained in general mediation for years and have practiced it formally and informally in different aspects of my life and work. Over the past almost ten years I have done mediations in my denomination, when churches / pastors have conflict. Sadly, I've had plenty of experience in high conflict with larger groups. I've also gained success with these dicey situations and acquired the respect of my colleagues as a result. I have a BA from Missouri State University and two Masters from Princeton Theological Seminary. My parish ministry is 80% time; I taught philosophy at County College of Morris for twenty years; I also do some trade work in the funeral industry. I am a volunteer firefighter and chaplain to the Stanhope police department. I have three adult children; I was recently married (June 30, 2017) to my bride, JoAnn Anner, who serves as a legal assistant at a family law practice and works directly for one of the partners. I have two cats, Grace and CiCi, both adopted from Pet Adoption League. Gracie is mostly blind and her sister is her SeeSee. My divorce mediation business is called Breaking Good Mediation. I took the NJ-APM divorce mediation course in the Spring 2015. I also completed two apprentices with Anju Jessani and Jennifer Brandt. I have worked on a divorce mediation of my own, through my business, and my client couple were very pleased with my work. I am not trying to work full time as a mediator but I am trying always to make a constructive difference.
