First of a Series of Online Civil Mock Mediation Programs

October 26 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

This is to announce the first of a series of online civil mock mediation programs that will be held on October 26, 2020, from noon to 1 p.m.

This is how the civil mock mediation will work.  Each mock mediation will have a mediator and a plaintiff and defendant.  There may be other participants such as attorneys. The mediator may or may not know any of the facts and arguments that the parties may present but there will have been no coordination between the mediator and the parties as to what the mediator will do.

How you participate. During the role play, there will be no questions from the attendees.  At the end of the role play, attendees can ask questions, e.g., why did the mediator take this or that approach.  If an attendee wants to try mediating to demonstrate a different approach, that can be done too with both audio and video. (While the mock mediation is being held in a Zoom webinar format where attendees cannot be seen, I can make an attendee into a panelist with full audio and video capability).
